Nearpod

Welcome back little frogs!
Thanks for coming back to my blog today. I want to talk about Nearpod. You might be wondering what Nearpod is. For my teacher friends this is THE GAME CHANGER! Nearpod is a software that allows teachers to create interactive lesson plans. I feel like a saleswoman writing this blog because essentially I am. Real Talk though people.. I found this software and I feel inspired to teach again. My fear of teaching is that I am so unorganized. Being a teacher requires massive amounts of structure and organization which I AM NOT! Nearpod allows teachers to easily formatively assess the students. Create gamified activities. Review student work. Create live participation and provides student paced activities. With Nearpod you can convert PowerPoint, Google slides, PDF, YouTube videos, and video file. Most importantly makes lessons interactive. This software is perfect for both online learning or project for class.

Here is a quick YouTube video (link below) to further explain Nearpod. Thanks for joining in on the blog! See ya next week!

  1. I watched about half or the video that you posted. It was informational. I researched "Nearpod" and the first thing that came up after Nearpod under the google suggestion was "Quizlet" That really intrigued me, because Quizlet was the tech tool that I did my eBook assignment on. This led me to research it to see the similarities and differences. In the past year there have been so many similar tech learning and training tools developed to help us all in distance based platforms. Thanks for the information.

  3. Hey there!

This is such a great share Tristen! I am all about interactive learning and it's something that I feel is necessary with how virtual learning has become. Gamification I feel is huge with fueling motivation and holding a learner's interest. Thank you for sharing what you found with us.
